Conversion of bothy into habitable space to provide accommodation for holiday lets and guests. Bothy designed to provide sleeping space for a couple with sleeping deck and access to a new shower room en-suite. Access to the upper floor is by a new side extension which contains the new staircase. The ground floor provides a living snug with stove, window seat and small open plan kitchen. Bespoke furniture and interior design maximises the use of the space. New extension containing the stair is modest in size and compliments the existing building providing additional space for a stair rather than a ladder which is retained. New glazing interventions provides opportunities and views of the national park beyond with uninterrupted views of the dark sky’s.

Conversion of outbuilding formally used as kennels into habitable space to provide accommodation for holiday lets and guests. Proposal contains living space for a couple with double bedroom, off the main snug heated with wood burning stove, kitchen with bespoke furniture design to maximise the usable space and luxurious bathroom suite with direct access onto the restored yard space to a wood burning Dutch tub. The existing railings and stone walls are retained to preserve the unique setting allowing visitors to enjoy the peaceful retreat while gazing at the the dark sky’s of the national park. A truly unique experience.
